Oh boy, I feel like this year will be different.
So much has happened in 2024; it felt like a sprint! Thanks to being ill with a virus and locked in the house, I finally had some time to reflect on the coming year. I’ve got some amazing plans, and my word for this year will be intentional. I’m also making changes to my work structure and priorities to align better with what truly matters to me.
I must say, it’s starting off well already as I’m taking part in an incredible exhibition that I would love to invite you to.
I have the pleasure of announcing an upcoming exhibition in France. A huge thank you to the amazing curator @slice.of.alicelife and the fantastic gallery @galeriedelest for the invitation.
EN: We are pleased to invite you to the opening of our upcoming exhibition, “In/Visible: The Changing Shape of Womanhood,” which highlights the work of 12 female artists.
This exhibition invites viewers to engage deeply with women’s intricate relationships with their bodies, exploring how personal experiences intersect with broader cultural narratives that shape perceptions of femininity, beauty, and identity. By featuring female artists and their intimate reflections, the exhibition highlights diverse perspectives on body image, touching on transformation, vulnerability, and resilience. Divided into four thematic sections, it examines ageing and memory, self-perception, social influences on body image, and using the body as a creative medium.
Join us for the opening evening on Saturday, January 18th, from 5 PM, with curator @slice.of.alicelife Alisa Lisovskaia present.
